2013 November - Tabulam, NSW

Meeting with Lewis Walker that day was  something special. We had been close for years, but this day, he said "You guys are different. It's time now to share with you." and the sacred Grandmother land was offered for us to live with for a month.
Special because this part of the land was always off limits. "We need to build a bridge between our cultures" was said.
"I want you to come and be welcome here".

Sitting on the banks of the river on Grandmother land, the scouts were filled with a sense of love and nuturing. This land as indeed special.

The gathering we had was amazing. The family gathering in real unity. We dealt with some unpleasant things beautifully. brothers and sisters shared their souls and realised our dreams.

The rocky river is a wonderous place.

Consensus:

Due to the Tasmania gathering coming up in February 2014, we decided to not finalise a call for the next gatheirng although we did discuss a consideration for the National Australia Rainbow Gathering to be set at the same time period each year. This would enable families to plan their holiday and it would strengthen the core of Rainbow over time.

Also open was a discussion of a permanent rainbow camp that would incorprate the ideology of a gardening oriented settlement.

No formal consensus was reached.

*The hygene rules are solid. These need to be enforced and maintained by everyone so we can all stay safe.See the "How do we stay healthy" part of the Introduction to Rainbow page.

Consensus 2

When the energy is right, a call for the next gathering will be made.
